This seems like a broken record, every week, Halo 3 sits atop the charts and there’s not much anyone can really do about it. World at War saw a brief one week stint at the top, when it’s newest DLC maps were released, but the week right after, Halo 3 reclaimed the crown. However, this week we do have a change in the second place title, where Modern Warfare has stolen the second spot from it’s younger brother. Also, Battlefield 1943 is still hanging on to a position in the top 10, likely attributed to the Coral Sea Challenge.
Will anything ever topple Halo 3? Halo 3 ODST surely will the first and probably second weeks it’s out, but with 3 new maps included as part of the Halo 3 multiplayer experience, I can’t see it holding onto the crown for too long. However, when Modern Warfare 2 hits, it will surely dominate and take the crown from Halo 3 for a long time, possibly until Halo Reach hits store shelves. Without any more delay, here’s last week’s list.
