Borderlands, a title I’ve been pretty psyched about ever since its reveal in a Game Informer issue nearly 2 years ago is finally in the home stretch.

Planned for release in October, the new Gearbox title made its way onto X-Play where a demonstration of the much touted co-op features were put on display. In the video below, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford (“Totally happy to be here!”)and three pals play through some of the campaign in the drop-in/drop-out co-op while shedding light on special combat moves, world size, looting system, and the events surrounding the infamous art-style change.

It’s a pretty impressive segment with a solid look into actual gameplay of a title I’m hoping you will be keeping your eyeballs on for the months to come.
