About a month ago, a video leaked that showed the achievements for Halo 3: ODST. While we never got confirmation on whether the achievements were legit after the video was inevitably pulled, we now finally have an accurate list of achievements for the game.
We must warn you in advance that the achievements contain spoilers, and spotlight some surprises that the game will have. On the flip side, it also foreshadows what will be in the game, including weapons, upgrades, and the different levels. Take a look, let us know what you think!
Oh, one more thing! The game will have 47 achievements, for the usual 1000 achievement points.

I'm not so sure I like that Vidmaster Challenge: Classic achievement. It looks fairly hard to get! But I might try as hard as I can just to get me some recon armor.
Its easy, get it on uplift reserve, grab a ghost and just speed through there are med packs every where so i is really easy, add me on live kurosuke1337

Everyone needs to stop replying to this message. I made that comment before the game came out. I already have that achievement already and I'm only missing 3, I'm probably going to get 1000 in a week.
its so easy just do it on the level where you start with spartan laser and get a warthog with no gunner and gun it through the level
Way to read my previous post saying I've already done this achievement as well as all the others.
It's easy. Just go to Uplift Reserve and drive through the entire level. I used the Warthog, then a ghost or two to finish. It took about 30 mins .B)
Dude look how long ago I made that comment, it was like a month before the game came out. I probably have done everything you have already and more. I'm only missing 1 achievement for it and I'm completely done with all of Halo 3's.

No idiot. I did that and it doesn't work. You need to be playing with others and you not be the only one to use weapons or grenades. It is a poorly written achievement. But clearly you had no idea what it means either.

I doubt it. Recon is kept unique so bungie has something kool to wear because most of them aren't that great at the game because they have to work on it, not play it.
no you need to find all mythic map skulls and halo 3 vidmaster achievements i tryed to do it but its too hard
they havent even released the last 3 mythic skulls, you just have to work hard, kick butt, and kiss more butt

You'll have to get all the Vidmaster Achievements in both Halo 3 and ODST to unlock the Recon Perm for Multiplayer.
I wonder if you can get the Classic Achievement using the melee, or if it's truly a Pacifist Run.
I think you will be able to hit, or it could truly be impossable. The trick will be finding the easiest misson with lots of places to run by enimes.
I'd assume you can melee as this is the only form of attack. Just wait a couple weeks and guides will spring up on YouTube for how to do this.
do it on a big vehicle level. melee is allowed so sword is a great idea. no equipment on ODST so just splatter and punch and its fairly easy. well as wasy as meleeing everyone on legendary can be. if u can glitch like halo 2's outskirts itll be a piece of cake

I wonder if you can do the classic achievement with a friend so he kills everyone and you do nothing.

No, it is a solo run. I've seen a couple of people who have sneaked a play of ODST, so i had a peek at the achievements. It's definitly a SOLO run. Sorry.

Well Online will still be normal Halo 3 not Hao 3: ODST and there already is quite a few, took a while to get them all but i did.
Other than the Firefight mode in Halo 3 ODST, there is no online with ODST specifically. With ODST you get a disc that is Halo 3 MP only, with ALL the MP maps included.

There are rumblings of such things happening.
Have a friend who knows an inside source from Bungie that got him all the achievements.
for a mission to complete the classic on. I would say the Oni Alpha Site… u just set the charges on the bridge and go to the objective point and blow the bridge…. no shots or melee required….. there u go fellas. Figured I'd give you all some insight…

Bungie has said that that is a very small segment of the mission, you still have to pull back to a plaza where a massive battle erupts. Trust me, they wouldn't make a 20 second mission.
The classic achievements says nothing about meleeing.. XD
There's one mission with Dutch where you can hijack a Chopper or Ghost within the first 30 seconds of the mission. I'd imagine that's the best bet, since the achievement says nothing about splatters either.
How about we do without the spoilers?
Id just say find a level where you drive a ghost or a hog through most of the level and splatter the piss out of the enemys

good smartin is not killing a single enginner on odst campain and naughty naughty is killing 10 in campain.

Only on the 3 new maps. Other than that there are no new skulls.

SPOLER——if any of you know what sadies story is bungie said if you find all the recordings there will be a cool thing at the end…im guessing naughty naughty and good sumeritan will have something to do with that
all these achs are like the halo3, the firefight would be like the meta, and the headshot things would be like away from the sun and stuff like that
These seem simple enough to get. Recon armor will be easy to earn, Although the Vidmaster ones and the "Be Like Marty" seem hard.

be like marty is so easy!! and yes i have tried all the vidmaster achievments like 3 or 4 times there annoying and you need lots of time with friends that have loads of time and skill!!! but for firefight just takes camping and skill.
I'm only guessing here but I think "Good Samaritan" and "Naughty Naughty" relate to the engineers. I believe that if you do not kill any engineers throughout the campaign then you will get the Good Samaritan achievement and if you last waste to them you get Naughty Naughty.

my vid master achievement classic didnt work i went through the whole level with out shooting or even throwing a grandae and didnt get it wtf is happening

u use a warthog? cause if u have a gunner the kills they get go 2 u
you can have a gunner, in fact it helps a lot, but use a ghost for the last part. You just can't honk your horn. Splattering is okay too.
Try it on uplift reserve.
Also, make sure to not even run anyone over. I splattered only one grunt in the whole mission, and I didn't get it. But then the next mission I didn't kill anyone, and I got it.
you can splatter in th ewarthog you just cant honk the horn that is what kill the achievement

For vidmaster Classic you have to do it alone but be connected to live; just don't nobody and run through
you cannot honk or use the ebrake. they both count as shooting or throwing a gernade
FAQ: Good Samaritan = not killing any of the engineers during the game, whereas Naughty Naughty = killing 10 of them

they have no online on this, and for the classic vidmaster it means you can solo a lv on legendary end of, so you can use bullets OR you can go on live and play with other guys and u dont fire anything they do so actually thats rlly easy the tough one comes with endure with is IMPOSSIBLE getting too wave 60 >.< and also finding the audios takes ages and the deja vu vicmaster it took me 3 full days non stop to get. very tough game.
easy. hardest was endure but now all i got is 6 200k achs. 940/1000
