Play Shadow Complex Early! [Contest / Review]

We got our hands on Shadow Complex last week, and have been thoroughly impressed thus far with the game. With a Metroid type feel, and Unreal powered graphics, Chair Entertainment delivers a great XBLA experience at $15 bucks. It took us about 8-9 hours to complete, but with secret upgrades within the game, you’ll definitely see enough replay value, with achievements included like beating the game 100% and reaching level 50.

If you played Trials HD, you’ll see a  similar “How are my friends doing” tracker (on 2nd thought, it looks more like the Gears achievement tracker, but you get the point). Plus, the game ties into Orson Scott Card’s storytelling, so fans of Ender’s Game and Empire will get even more enjoyment.

Overall, between the hours of gameplay, and with the 3 extra sets of challenges, you should definitely try out the trial, or full game. But what if you could jump into the game for free, and early! Well, 360Sync is giving you the chance to play before the game is even released, something that is nearly unheard of, since XBLA games aren’t available early.

On Monday at 11:59 EST PM, we will will pick a winner, and send the winning combination ASAP, which will let you try out the game for free and early!

We have made it very simple to enter. We have 2 ways:

  1. Make a comment on our site, signed in with either Facebook / Twitter / IntenseDebate. So long as the comment is related to Shadow Complex, you are entered to win!
  2. Additionally, you can also follow 360Sync on Twitter, and make a comment that does the following:
    • Contains @360Sync, #ShadowCC
    • Is somewhat related to Shadow Complex

As long as you’ve completed the above requirements by that time, you are entered. This contest is open to anyone, as long as you live on planet Earth. So no excuses not to enter!

    I want Shadow Complex so much. It's like some mad scientist combined two of the best games in the genre ('Vania and Metroid), added some Epic Games kickass and flair to the mix, and came out with this a final result.

    I finished Bionic Commando Rearmed not too long ago…I'm hoping the grappling hook in Shadow Complex will give me a bit of that type of gameplay. The outdoor screenshots look amazing btw, can't wait to see this game in action.

    I've been reading reviews left and right and it's certainly not helping me get over this game! My desire has been increasing day after day. Ive seen every video, read every preview, and read up on every forum… the wait is not getting easier.

    Shadow Complex would be better at 800 points, I iwll have to really love the trial demo for me to spend 1200 points on digital media dowloaded games, I just prefer owning a physical copy of all my games. And $15.00 is not cheao for digital rights!
