On Wednesday, when the Lost Planet 2 Co-op Demo and the Mini Ninjas Demos popped up on Xbox Live, there was some part of you saying, okay, we’re probably not going to get demos for another month just because these two came out, and alongside Shadow Complex! Then, yesterday, we were graced with 2 new demos, NHL 10 and DiRT 2, which have pretty large followings already from their previous iterations and are hotly anticipated holiday titles. So that brought this week’s demo count to 4, and you would have thought we’re not going to get any more demos for a while.
Well, guess what? The Section 8 demo just dropped on to the Xbox Live Marketplace and is here for your added pleasure for the week. While we were at E3, we got a bit of hands on time, and all 3 of us, Devin (DaKing240), Rob (Esko) and myself all agreed that it was quite a fun game with some interesting concepts. Probably the most innovative part was the spawning after you had been killed, which involved dropping from a dropship in a pod to the ground. Rob also had some more hands on time with it before E3 at GDC 09, which we would suggest you check out.
