The Left 4 Dead 2 achievements were revealed today, and we know that all you zombie-hunters are dying to get your hands on them.  Much like the original, Valve did a fantastic job making a well-balanced and interesting list.  You’ll nab achievements for  playing through the campaigns, competing against others in Versus and Scavenge mode, and just being an all-around good zombie killer.

Many of the achievements focus on the new features of the game, such as the melee weapons, the new special infected (i.e. the Charger, Jockey, and Spitter), and the defibrillator.  However, some of the achievements do nothing but bring up further questions about the game (“Who or what is Moustachio?”  “What’s a ‘bile bomb’?”).  Notably, Valve’s added no achievements specific to the Survival mode.  The achievement that had us laughing out loud was “Cl0wned” – Honk the noses of 10 clowns (A play on “Cr0wned” from the original – Kill a witch with a single headshot).  The full list’s below:
