As many of you know, Left 4 Dead 2 releases in late November, the 17th to be exact.  This might cause a problem if you’re jonesin’ for your zombie-killin’ fix.  Sure, you could pop in Left 4 Dead, but how are you supposed to be excited about that when you were promised a katana in the sequel?  You need to get your slice and dice on ASAP.

Nick, Rochelle, Coach, and Ellis: Coming Soon to a Demo Near You!

Luckily, Valve’s going to give you a taste soon.  It was announced today that the Left 4 Dead 2 demo will be released to the public November 3rd on Xbox Live Marketplace.  That’s a mere two-and-a-half weeks away!  Not soon enough?  Well, if you preorder the game, you’ll gain early access to the demo which will be available on October 27th.

The demo will give you access to the The Parish campaign.  You’ll encounter all the new Special Infected, and have the chance to use all the new melee weapons.  In a perfect world, we’d be able to slip into hibernation until November 17th at midnight.  We’ll have to settle for patiently waiting until October 27th.
