Rock Band Reaches 1,000 Songs

Two Novembers ago, Harmonix released Rock Band and changed the face of a lot of parties to this day.  At the time, it was a revolutionary concept that could’ve failed just as easily as it succeeded.  However, with the hard-working and dedicated Harmonix team at the helm, Rock Band became one of the most successful video game franchises ever.

Today, they announced that they’ve reached the 1,000 song mark.  How did they get there? When Rock Band originally came out, Harmonix promised an entire year of weekly DLC.  They kept good on their promise, and more; they’re currently at 105 straight weeks of giving us new tracks to rock out to.

We at 360Sync just want to say – Congratulations Harmonix, and thank you for chipping away at our wallets 160 MS Points at a time.  Here’s to the next 1000, and, if it’s not too much to ask – can we get some Led Zeppelin?
