Update: It was revealed that the three Green Day songs are “”¡Viva La Gloria!”, “Christian’s Inferno”, and “Last of the American Girls”.

This morning, as usual, announced the tracks for next Tuesday’s DLC release.  This week, there is a semi-weird combination of songs.  Come Tuesday, will be graced by the presence of Slipknot and Simon & Garfunkel.  As far as we figure, these artists are about as far on opposite ends of the musical spectrum as you can get.  On the plus side, you finally have a legitimate reason to play while wearing a really creepy mask.

Also, the holiday season must have put is a generous mood, because we’re getting a free track next week!  The song is “Dreaming of Love” by Lights Resolve, so be sure to check that out.

Here’s next week’s run-down.  (Like always, individual songs are 160 MSP, and the Slipknot three-pack is 440 MSP.)

  • Slipknot – “Duality”
  • Slipknot – “Psychosocial”
  • Slipknot – “Sulfur”
  • Simon & Garfunkel – “I Am a Rock”
  • Simon & Garfunkel – “The Sounds of Silence”
  • Lights Resolve – “Dreaming of Love”

On top of all this goodness was the news that Green Day is scheduled to get another three song track pack on December 15h.  We don’t have any word on which songs it will include.  The first track pack was made up of “21st Century Breakdown” songs, and while that was awesome, we’re really hoping for some older stuff (hopefully from the “Dookie”-era).  Anyone have any guesses as to what they’ll be?
