Cerberus Network Unveiled for Mass Effect 2

By | January 19, 2010 | Xbox 360 |

Today, BioWare revealed an in-game hub for Mass Effect 2 DLC and news titled “The Cerberus Network”.  The Cerberus Network will be an interactive way for the developers to communicate with the players and reward them with goodies such as bonus content, daily messages, DLC, and the latest Mass Effect news.  Of course, on launch day (Jan 26th), The Cerberus Network will feature the free DLC pack that includes new items and missions.

Every new copy of the game comes with a single-use code to unlock The Cerberus Network.  Gamers who pick up Mass Effect 2 second-hand will be able to download The Cerberus Network for a fee.  It hasn’t been announced how much the fee will be, but we imagine that it has to be relatively nominal.
