Check Out All 20 Perfect Dark Achievements

The Perfect Dark achievements popped up recently, and they’re full of two things: surprises and disappointment.  First off, it’s worth mentioning that, for some reason, Perfect Dark has 20 achievements instead of the customary 12 for XBLA titles.  It still has 200 GS attached to it, but 8 more achievements.  It’s also worth mentioning that the achievements look way too easy.

Now for the disappointment; the vast majority of the achievements look so simple that they’ll be earned by nearly anyone who spends hardly anytime with the game.  The only ones that look moderately difficult are Perfect Agent (complete the Solo Missions on Perfect Agent) and Paci-fist (Complete any Solo Mission on Special Agent or harder using only your fists).

Alternatively, there are some interesting ones such as Prime Target (Complete every Challenge up to and including 29, the 10th Prime number).  It was nice to see that they remembered their roots with Golden Days (Complete a Combat Simulator game on Felicity, Complex or Temple using Classic Weapons), a GoldenEye reference.  It’s unfortunate to see that there were no achievements included for collecting any cheese (Perfect Dark on the N64 had one wedge of cheese hidden in every level).  However, three of the achievement pictures are cheese, so at least it got an homage of sorts.
