The Cake Is A Lie, But A Sequel Is The Truth

By | March 5, 2010 | Xbox 360 |

It looks like GLaDOS wasn’t lying; she really is Still Alive.  Today, Valve revealed that Portal 2 is set to release this holiday season.  The most shocking detail is that it will feature some form of co-op play.  Hey, Portal alone was great; Portal with a friend must be better, right?  Right?

If you’re interested, here’s the link to the official announcement on Valve’s site.  The astute reader will notice that there are random letters underlined throughout the press release.  We’ve done the leg work, and they spell out “drattmannh0nee”.  It certainly seems as if Valve is hitting the viral marketing campaign pretty hard; they obviously know that we’re suckers for it.

Anyone out there able to make any sense of the mystery phrase?  Think it’s a scrambled message?  Maybe a password for an Aperture Science site that’ll pop up?  Conspiracy theorists, unite in the comments!

Oddly enough, it has the same amount of characters as “thecakeisalie”.
