Previously on the game formerly known as F.E.A.R. 3 , we were introduced to the stoic Point Man, wielder of strategically induced bullet-time and non-evil twin to the more ego-maniacal Paxton Fettel. Now we have a chance to sit down and talk turkey with the infamous cannibalistic co-op partner as he waxes poetic on the nature of death and deals out more telekinesis than a Jedi Master hopped up on Midichlorian Juice.
Witness his gravity defying acts of depravity as he flings enemies around like puppets on a string, possesses their bodies for his debaucherous rage filled whims and teleports all over the place with the greatest of ease. In all honesty, Paxton’s unique skill set might prove incredibly entertaining when co-oping with a friend playing as the Point Man, and the possibilities of double teaming hordes of enemies with your complimentary psychic powers could spell hours of FPS funitude.
Yes, I made that last word up. I have to keep myself entertained writing these things somehow, and pop-culture puns can only go so far.
Warner Brothers are dealing out new publicity material left and right, so check back soon for more info on F.3.A.R. and its supernatural protagonists as it spooks through our inbox. Out of curiosity though, how many of you have played the previous two games and what do you think of this new direction they’re taking the franchise in?
