For those of you that have been drooling over People Can Fly‘s much-hyped, ultra-violent upcoming title, Bulletstorm, we have a tidbit of news that will make your blood boil just a bit more with anticipation. On January 25, which is just under two weeks away, a Bulletstorm demo will be sauntering it’s way onto Xbox LIVE to temporarily quench whatever blood-lust you may currently experience.
The demo will allow you to check out the “Echo” mode, which is a multiplayer game type that lets players run through already completed campaign levels with a full team. Rumor has it that there will be 45 skillshots in your arsenal, which seems like quite a few, but keep in mind that Bulletstorm is a twisted dreamer’s paradise of unique dismemberment and gore.
While the demo will be available to try to sell the unsure on the game, it’ll serve a secondary purpose, as well. Those that play the demo will have unique optimizations at their disposal for Anarchy mode when the full game releases. Given the fact that the demo’s free, there’s really no reason to not give it a try, whether it be to simply sample the wares or to season yourself for that February 22nd release that feels years away.
