Update: Congrats to Nicole and Salfriel, you’ve won a free copy of Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale. I’ll be sending you your codes via your account email shortly. For those who entered but didn’t win, we appreciated the entries. Keep reading 360sync, we’ll have more contests coming up down the pipeline for you to enter.
Strap on your best armor and sharpen your swords, because Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale is now available on Xbox Live Arcade. Take up arms as a cleric, rogue, wizard, or fighter against Rezlus and the Zhentarim in the latest D&D console game from Atari and Bedlam Games. Courtesy of Bedlam Games, we have codes to give away to two of you lucky 360sync readers out there.
So how do you enter the contest? It’s pretty simple, actually. If you’re familiar with Dungeons and Dragons, you’re no doubt familiar with the Alignment system, but for those of you who aren’t allow me to explain. The alignment system was used by table top D&D players to categorize the morality of their characters, NPC’s, and societies. There are nine types of alignment, which are as follows: Lawful Good, neutral and evil; Neutral Good, neutral, and evil; and Chaotic good, neutral, and evil. For example, Ezio from the Assassin’s Creed series would be classified as a Chaotic Good character, because he believes in change for a greater good, but tends to do bad things, provided they are done for the benefit of the world, not just himself.
So the contest is this: Give us one of your favorite video game characters, and tell us what their alignment is and why. If you need help figuring it out, you can use the Wikipedia entry or this (extremely thorough) alignment breakdown.
Get your entries in, and we’ll pick our two favorites to get a code for the game. See ya in Daggerdale!
