By It’s taken a long time, but it’s finally happened: Insomniac is bringing their unique gaming minds to the Xbox 360. During the EA press conference, Insomniac released the teaser trailer for their upcoming OverStrike. The video above shows Dalton Brooks, head of the OverStrike 9 team, in the middle of a grueling debriefing about his previous mission, and his teammates.
No gameplay has been shown (yet), but what is known is that it will be a four player co-op based action shooter. It reminds me of Borderlands, and if that’s the case, I’m all for it. This is already my most anticipated game out of E3. Insomniac has been near and dear to my heart ever since I first set hands on Ratchet and Clank, and it’s wonderful to see that they are now no longer tethered to producing Sony exclusive titles. The trailer, although pre-rendered, already exudes all of the humor and charm I’ve come to expect from the developers.
Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of this game very, very soon. And I call dibs on Naya.
