One of the big unveils during Microsoft’s E3 conference was the news that 343 Industries was working on a HD remake of the original Halo. Halo Anniversary will be hitting store shelves on November 15th with the entire original Halo game with glorious HD visuals, multiplayer, and campaign co-op. The big question that most folks had on their minds after seeing the unveil was obviously “How much will it set me back?”
Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Anniversary will ship at $40. The game will also have a full 1000 achievement points to give gamers some added incentive in replaying the old classic. If you’re interested, you can head over to Amazon now and put down a pre-order, which also comes with free shipping when the game launches in November. Although I’m a little worn out on the Halo franchise, Combat Evolved has always had a very close place in my heart. I can’t even begin to count the amount of hours me and my friends spent playing Blood Gulch in huge lan parties.
