By It was almost two long years ago that Twisted Pixel’s sophomoric endeavor, ‘Splosion Man, burst onto the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade scene and instantly captured our hearts. With its quirky yet mysterious characters, deceptively tricky platforming, and premium Omaha Steaks, ‘Splosion Man was one of the stand-out hits from 2009′s downloadable catalog.
Twisted Pixel, after a few other projects, has decided to return to the ‘Splosion Man world with the upcoming Ms. Splosion Man, although the apostrophe has gone curiously missing. Judging by the recently released trailer, the follow-up will put a large emphasis on new locations rather than just the confines of the undetailed science facility. It looks like the new gameplay mechanics and the fresh environments will be enough to breathe life back into the ‘Splosion Man formula, but we’ll have to wait a few more months for its release to know for sure.
