Break out your sword and ninja clothes, everybody. Ryu Hayabusa is back in Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 3. This will be the first game in the series that will not be headed by the enigmatic Tomonobu Itagaki, who left Team Ninja in 2008. This time around, Ryu Hayabusa is called in to London to help fight a group of terrorists, and as always, the occasional hell beast.
It was revealed during demo sessions on the E3 showfloor that Ninja Gaiden 3 will feature a much more lenient difficulty level for casual gamers and first comers to the series. As someone who destroyed an Xbox controller due to frustration with the difficulty in the previous games, this is a much welcomed change. The game will also feature both cooperative and competitive gameplay modes with support of up to eight players. Check out the reveal trailer above, and make sure you’ve finished up your anger management classes by the game’s release in early 2012.
