By now, you’ve probably made your way through the steampunk, Philip K. Dick inspired world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. You were probably left feeling a little under-whelmed by the game’s ending, as most people seemed to be. If that’s the case, you’ll be pleased to know that Square-Enix have announced today that Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be getting it’s first bit of DLC in October.
The DLC, entitled The Missing Link, has you once again taking control of Adam Jensen as he delves deeper into the conspiracy. You will find yourself being tortured atop a Belltower controlled freighter, and must escape the freighter alive without the use of your augments. I kinda like the idea that the DLC will require you to try to complete it without any assistance from Adam’s nanite abilities.
No word on pricing yet for the DLC, but you can go to the official site and check out a quick teaser, as well as some screenshots, including a beaten, bloodied Jensen sneaking around on the ship. As stated above, The Missing Link will be released on Xbox Live Marketplace sometime in October.
