Best Buy and 2K Sports are celebrating the release of NBA 2K12 with a special midnight opening event and in-store appearance by Earvin “Magic†Johnson on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 8:00pm to midnight.
NBA 2K12 is the latest title in the NBA 2K franchise featuring three separate covers with the NBA’s greatest legends of all time, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and “Magic†Johnson.
At the West LA Best Buy NBA 2K12 launch event, customers can expect a range of activities and offerings, including:
- Autograph signing with “Magic†Johnson and Laker Girls for the first 200 fans in line.*
- NBA 2K12 gameplay tournament where the winners will receive a special meet-and-greet with “Magic†Johnson.
- 3D digital photo experience where fans can create their own NBA 2K12 game cover starring their image.
- Hands-on NBA 2K12 gameplay stations, as well as eligibility for a chance to win Best Buy giveaways.
NBA 2K12 is rated E by the ESRB and will be available October 4, 2011.
