I gotta say that Ezio Auditore has become an amazing protagonist for Assassin’s Creed. The original game in the series left me with a lot to be desired, but the subsequent games have more than made up for it’s predecessor’s lackluster story and ending. And here we are several years later, looking at the end of Ezio’s story.
For the uninitiated, this final game in both Ezio and Altair’s storyline has Ezio making his way to Constantin in the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century. Ezio is on a quest to discover a hidden artifact found by Altair that could help bring an end to the Templar/Assassin War. The game will also continue the story of Desmond Miles, a descendant of Ezio’s bloodline, who has been helping the remnants of the modern day Assassins discover these ancient artifacts to stop the Templars.
The video above shows off a bit of the single player story, including a new group of mysterious enemies in some amazing looking armor. I can’t wait to get back into this series, and with the release date set for November 15, it won’t be long until I am finally able to.
