If you’re one of the unlucky gamers out there that are unable to play on Xbox LIVE, and wanted to update to the new Dashboard that was made available last week, you are now in luck. Microsoft has made the new Dashboard update available online, and if you have a Flash Drive or a blank DVD (and DVD burner), you can now download and update completely offline. This will bring you cloud storage, beacons, and more upgrades which all would seem to require Xbox LIVE to function.
It should be noted that if you have Xbox LIVE, you do NOT need to do this, as you should have the update already at this point.
