This Tuesday, SSX will be receiving 3 new DLC packs, that are intended to bring back the classic SSX experience. They wanted the DLC to have the same feel as classic SSX titles – hence, Mt. Eddie was born; an SSX TRICKY inspired mountain with billboards and fireworks and more. They also wanted the game to look like the SSX of years gone-by – and behold! They added seven classic SSX Characters: Elise, Eddie, Kaori, Mac, Moby, Psymon, and Zoe. However, to complete the trifecta, they needed it to sound like old school SSX – thus, they tuned in to the music of your favorite previous SSX titles, and came back with 3 classic tracks.
To bring the noise, EA turned to original SSX tracks “Top Bomb” and “Gin and Sin” by John Morgan. Appearing both in 2000’s SSX and later in SSX Tricky, these tracks set the retro vibe for gamers while they carve the slopes with their favorite retro character. Also included in the DLC is the track “Darkpath”, also by John Morgan. “Darkpath” appeared in EA SPORTS™ Sledstorm that featured SSX heroes Zoe and Psymon.
However, we want to give everyone the chance to win some of the DLC, and are going to give away 5 copies of SSX Mt. Eddie & Classic Characters Bundle Pack, which contains:
