Today Capcom confirmed three new multiplayer modes for Resident Evil 6 that will be released as post-launch DLC. The three modes are called Survivors, Predator, and Siege, respectively.
Survivors mode pits teams or individual players against each other, only there’s a twist. If you’re killed, you become an enemy (presumably a zombie) that can attack the remaining human players. Kill two human players and you’re resurrected as a human yourself. Last man or team standing wins.
Predator mode casts one player as the hulking Ustanak to hunt and eliminate the human players. The human players must either try to stop the Ustanak (no small feat) or simply survive the session to win. Get chomped, stomped, decapitated, or eviscerated in any other form by the monster, and the match goes to the Ustanak.
Siege mode tasks a team of human players with protecting a single NPC while another team of enemies (again, presumably monsters of some sort) tries to eliminate the NPC. If the NPC survives, the human team wins.
A release date for these modes is still unclear, as well as any sort of price. We’ll update with info as we receive it.
