Go Behind the Scenes of Halo 4′s Multiplayer

The Halo series is consistently showered with praise of its addictive multiplayer. Ever since Halo 2 debuted on Xbox Live, fans can’t get enough of the series’ red vs. blue match ups. Not to put any more pressure on 343 Industries (who seem to be doing a fine enough job already), but Halo 4 must take another innovative step in multiplayer to keep things fresh.

Thankfully, with everything we’ve heard so far, it sounds like it has. But now you can see for yourself in the above video, in which the folks at 343 Industries give some insight into creating the multiplayer for one of this year’s most anticipated games.

Allow Sir Hammerlock to Introduce You to Gaige the Mechromancer in Borderlands 2

Comments Off

A new Vault Hunter is available for Borderlands 2: Gaige the Mechromancer. Announced quite some time ago, Gaige was released last Tuesday, October 9, a week early from the original release date. She is a free download for anyone who preordered and gained access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club. Otherwise, you can pick up the content for 800 MS Points.

Gaige excels in shock damage, as she has powers which cause enemies to explode in an electrical nova if killed with a critical hit and increase their chances of lighting on fire if they are shocked. Her skill move is one of the most unique, as she summons Deathtrap, a legless torso of pure awesomeness (as Gaige herself puts it). This robotic dynamo can deliver deadly melee attacks, replenish allies’ shields, and fire a rad laser beam that incinerates enemies.

Check out the trailer above to get a better look at Gaige’s powers in action!

Domino Set to Appear in Deadpool Game

High Moon Studios’ upcoming game based on Marvel’s insane assassin, Deadpool, has added another of the comic publisher’s characters to its roster. The wily vixen Domino will bring her good luck powers to Deadpool’s first solo game.

Domino is a mutant who can initiate random acts of telekinesis that shift odds into her favor, giving her the virtue of luck. A freelance mercenary like Deadpool, Domino’s first appearance was in X-Force #11 in 1992. Since then, the character has appeared in many of Deadpool’s adventures, usually showing disdain for the Merc With A Mouth. Then again, who doesn’t?
